Since the age of 12, Nilo has established work as a painter, a teacher and a muralist. Her work has been displayed at school functions in Eagle, Idaho, the Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Boise Idaho, and the Boys and Girls Club locations in Boise and Woodburn Oregon. In her high school years, she began her career in commission work, working mostly in portraiture. She has work in several private collections in Boise, Idaho. Nilo gained her diploma at Fresco Arts Academy, a private arts school in Eagle, Idaho, where she trained as a painter. While she was a full-time student and teaching assistant in college, she continued teaching art classes at the Chehalem Cultural Centre in Newberg. After earning a Bachelor of Arts at George Fox University in Newberg, OR, she is now returning to Eagle to instruct multiple art courses at Hall International Academy, as well as some public classes with the City of Boise.
